Just wondering if you guys think there's any correlation between ring size and carat weight? Of course, a 1ct diamond would look bigger on someone with a smaller ring size. But I was at the store the other day and trying on different rings. Having a size 5 ring, I think anything above 2cts was way too much for me. I'm sure it's all a matter of preference, but I would love to hear all your opinions. What's the maximum you would go? Or is it "the bigger the better"?

Your question is frequently asked here and if you click below and scroll through the 15 accessible pages you'll probably find numerous posts discussing this topic. FWIW, my ring finger is 4.5, I'm petite build and the largest appropriate size for me is around 1.2. Michelle

Look at the bottom of the screen on the RockyTalky pagewhere all the numbers are. . . you can click on the these numbers and scroll through all the recent threads to find ones appropriate this subject matter. Possibly there's not a ton of threads, but seems like this is asked often. Here's one recent thread. . . ring size Another ring size post

I think it's really just a matter of what one is comfortable wearing as opposed to what actually looks good on a person. For me personally, I have a size 5.25 ring finger and I am comfortable wearing a 8.25 mm diamond (2 carat), which is what I wear now. I think I would be comfortable up to a 3 carat, or so I tell my husband , but would it look good on me or would it match my lifestyle? That I am not sure about.I personally think that if I ever did get a 3 carat diamond, it would scream out fake. I look very young, I always dress in jeans and t-shirts, I wear sneakers most of the time and I drive a beat up HOnda Civic. So even though I would be comfortable wearing a 3 carat diamond, I don't necessarily think it would look good, or more importantly, real, on me.
