C60 Rough Rock Total Posts: 7 Last Post: 10/19/2004 Member Since: 3/5/2004	I was shopping for some rings today, and one of the retail stores told me that the price of diamonds will go up on monday. Is this true? Do prices of diamond go up at certain times of the year or do they just gradually go up over time?

You shouldn't feel pushed. Have you checked out any of the pricescope vendors/done a pricescope search for what you're looking for? I can almost assure you that they won't make you feel pressured. Therefore, I don't mention this possibility unless asked, but prices can/do increase without much notice...so you take your chances. It is true that prices are/have increased for the 2nd time this year, but it is a variable if or when you see the increases at the retail level with different vendors. Gary www.diamondexpert.com
