diamondsman Ideal Rock Total Posts: 625 Last Post: 11/12/2009 Member Since: 11/11/2002	Those settings are not that expensive if you are talking about a regular 4-6 prong style ,many sites give them away if you buy a diamond from them ,otherwise it should not be more than $100.00 in 14k. Two-tone pieces or those with struck heads still come in below $120. Platinum will start about $400 up to as much as $900-1000 for a heavy weight piece with a struck head.

iknowquinn Rough Rock Total Posts: 63 Last Post: 5/6/2004 Member Since: 2/12/2004	just want to mention (b/c i am a HUGE fan of the real Tiffany six prong setting)...alot of the so-called "copies" are nothing like the original. i can tell from a mile away, and i don't like the look of those "copies" one bit- although people will always refer to them as a "tiffany setting" just b/c it has six prongs. anyway- i absolutely love the real tiffany setting, and i have found that the knockoffs that truly replicate the look of that setting (in platinum) are roughly $1,000. they are also few and far between.
