Girlfriend likes yellow gold. She doesn't wear much jewelry, so trying for something classic. I have looked at Scott Kay, A Jaffe, and now the Martin Flyer. I think I'm leaning toward Martin Flyer, it is really similar to A Jaffe, and I can get a great deal on it from www.Since1910.com First..have any of you had experience with Martin Flyer? do you know what shape she likes? they are similar in design, however some prefer one shape over another. I happen to like both Princess and round, but in this ring, for some reason, I"m drawn to Princess. Also note the a princess stone of the same weight as the round stone will look a little smaller face up.

I agree. I'm not really a huge princess fan, would usually go with the round. But this particular setting seems to do wonders for the princess cut! My issue with them is that like D&T said, princesses face up smaller than rounds of the same weight. Really depends on the opinion of the wearer though.
