Hey Amzizzle and Lilyfoot!

I for one don't really know of any specific local jeweler in the Orlando area, but since my brother and his FF live there, I've done some research.  You can actually call any Jared's and see if they would work with you.  Their prices for repair have been pretty decent but I just took out the phonebook and started calling jewelers.  I had a list of questions and depending on their individual answers plus cost, I'd make a decision.  I actually told my brother to go to Jared's if any repair is necessary since they were very competetive in cost.  So, a good back up would be Jared's in my opinion (any Jared's would do since I found that they all pretty much had the same cost) and if you happen to build a relationship with a local jeweler, then you could begin working with them instead.  But, good luck on your decision!

You can also try International Diamond Center who I believe have 2 branches in your area, but their repair cost gets pricey specially if you didn't originally purchase from them.

Jareds is actually where I picked out the setting I will be getting for my e-ring. Obviously, if I had issues with the e-ring, I'd take it back there. I hadn't really considered having them work on my other jewelry, for some reason. I am going to see how the e-ring comes out, and if all is well, I will continue to use their jeweler for other stuff.

As I understand it, the jewelers are in the Jared stores, but they are a seperate entity, if that makes sense? I do find their fees to be reasonable though. Also, they don't send anything out. For example, for the e-ring, my BF can buy the setting, and have our diamond set in it the same day (the diamond is not from Jareds). The jewelers section of the store has a glass front, so you can see everything they're doing. I love that!

We've been to the Altamonte Springs and International Drive locations. They're both great, but our preference is for the International Drive location.

Edited for spelling mistake
