Beth, that's beautiful! I am SO tempted by eBay but am so afraid...I feel like there are great deals (like your pendant) out there but I too have been afraid to take the plunge on a big ticket item! Enjoy & post pics on your neck when it comes!

Grant broke down huh? I see my avatar stopped doing it's Immelmann, I wonder if it's broken, or if the moderator turned it off, I am now nothing but a psychedelic blur.

Thanks Doxie and Jennifer. Ebay is getting easier now for little things. Cohiba, you know better, I don't discuss jewelry with Grant as he does not have the inclination for it. No, I bought it myself. Now if I said I wanted some stock he would spend hours laboring and reading annual reports and such, but that would bore me to tears! We do our own "thing" but we do have our common interests too though. Don't let the plane stall for heavens sakes! Maybe she is out of petrol and needs to land. He was actually quite proud of the half dead roses that he and the kids remembered to give me and I was happy they remembered at all as it is not really celebrated in this country. It is the thought that counts. I do appreciate the thoughts a bunch.

Hi Beth, I figured out what was wrong, I had run out of bandwith on my hosting servise! In the meantime I took off in all this horrible rainy weather and am headed down to see you where you say it's nice and hot. If it's this bad in San Francisco, pitty poor Looie and his nephew up in the frozen tundra of Minnesota! You did tell Grant that he and the kids gave you the baubles didn't you? You asked about watch winders, my Wolf won't handle the big Breitlings, and the other one "clunks" around with all the weight, so I have ordered this one from Germany.

Hey Cohiba. Actually, I don't think I even mentioned it. It is inconsequential to him in the scheme of things. Now, I might need to let him know out of courtesy if say he were to come home to a brand new Mercedes in the driveway, but he has bought cars in cash without telling me so...it really doesn't matter. At the end of the day its just material stuff. We just don't fuss about money issues. Never have. Not because we are loaded but because we both have the same attitude about spending and saving and the same priorities and faith in the other's putting the family first. Neither one of us has ever been selfish at all. For us really, its about the children and their future. Sure we both have things we want but we won't borrow for them or lose sight of the big picture, and our treats are fine along the way. He knows I am going to blow big on a diamond ring and is okay with it as the funds have been specifically set aside for that and accummulated over time and other business is taken care of so why not... I have been very curious about watch winders. They spin the watch around? Rodie was saying that his bumped his watch into the bracket of the safe so I am assuming that they move around and make noise. Do they whir...wait, nevermind! lol. I'm such a goof. Ask one of your employees if it is whirring and let me know. Do you plug it in or does it take a battery? I bet it looks really neat when it gets going with all those watches on it. I have a bid in on a "guts" pocket watch. I figure it will entertain me for hours if I win it and maybe I can get up to speed on trying to understand the elusive concept of what makes it go! I am still hanging tight for our Rolex to arrive. Darn dial. We had to go and design something really difficult you Rodie and I. sigh. just hanging tight.
