Can anyone recommend a good jeweler in the New Orleans area? I would like to have a ring custom made similar to ruey17's ring http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=119303. I have tried dealing directly with Leon, but he obviously doesn't want to take the project because his quote was out of this world (and by out of this world, I mean really, really high). Thanks for the help. |

I know that Tom Mathis with Symmetry does custom work. They are located in the Riverbend right off Carrollton. Hiller Jewelry out on Metairie Rd also does custom work, talk to Joe Bidermen. I know he's ok with you purchasing your stone elsewhere unless something has changed in the last year. There is also Boudreaux's and Aucoin Heart on Metairie Rd but I don't know about doing custom work. These are local, family owned jewelry places.
