I am getting close to purchasing the ring for my gf. I want to go with this diamond and this setting. please let me know what everyone thinks.

ASET- http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/certificate.aspx?idno=2145457&file_name=4

I've never bought jewelry on the internet before and I am a little hesitant. I really want to make sure that the size of the diamond would be a good fit for the setting. My gf have small fingers and I hope the 2.6mm size ring will not look too big. Also I don't want the setting to be too big for the size of the diamond I chose. Please...any help would be appreciated!

I forgot, I'm going to go with the white gold or platinum.

Thank you to everyone that has help me before!

hunger, I think you have picked out a wonderful ring! The diamond is very well cut, and the setting is lovely. I think the size of the stone is just fine for the ring, and it's all going to be perfect on her little finger! (that band is not very wide, don't worry)

Well done!

That will look great!  Great job picking the diamond and setting, she will love it.

Just Gorgeous! dainty but not too small for a small hand...don't worry about buying off the interweb!
i've seen plenty of AWESome diamonds from white flash, quest, and others to know that you will NOT be
sorry and you're getting a WAY better (and bigger) stone than what you would pay in a B&M or Mall store.
really. good job & congrats!

First and foremost, thank you to everyone that commented! Your comments have been very helpful and reassuring that I've made a good decision.

I have found another diamond that have made me reconsider and I am hoping for opinions on which would be a better purchase. This new diamond is from James Allen. It is also a H&A. The price is about $900 more but it is a 1.06ct instead of .90ct. Is it worth it to spend the extra $900 so my gf can happily say that it's 1ct if her friends ask?!? :)

Thank you!

Ditto Queen Mum that the diamond looks good.  Only you and your gf can answer the question.  Will she care if it is over 1ct?  Believe it or not, my fiance has never asked the size of the diamond in her e-ring, she just flat doesn't care.  Other women do like to know the size, and like to be able to say they have a 1ct diamond.
