Hi All, I am getting married this fall in Chicago at the Peninsula Hotel, and I'm trying to find a fun place for a post-wedding after party. Ideally, we'd love to be within walking distance or a short cab ride of the hotel (108 East Superior), and we would be arriving around midnight/12:30...and staying until they close! We want a place that has fun music and maybe some dancing (i.e. no disco techno vibe with long lines and cover), but we also don't want to do any of the drunken fratty bars in the Viagra Triangle (our wedding is black tie so we don't want people to feel *too* overdressed when we go out afterwards!). Some of the options we've considered and ended up passing on are Gage, Whiskey Bar, Red Head Piano Bar, Pop's for Champagne. Do you all have any suggestions that might fit the bill? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hmmm, I've heard good things about the roof bar at the new Wit Hotel, but I haven't been there. It might be worth checking out.

Anyone else have any other ideas? I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at The Wit Roof bar yet, so I'd appreciate any other options in case they're booked. Thanks!!
