I just wanted to give a glowing review for both Pricescope vendors, Brian Gavin and USA Certed Diamonds.

USA Certed Diamonds
I'll start with USA Certed Diamonds since I bought the diamond first. I contacted Martin (the owner) back in April 2009 and told him that I was looking for an AGS000 stone. I told him about my price range and the specs that I wanted for the diamond. He got back to me the next day and told me that he found a couple of diamonds that I would like and emailed me the specs of each diamond. I finally decided on a diamond but since he didn't have aset or idealscope images, he suggested that I have the diamond shipped to an appraiser and if I was satisfied, I could always return it without paying for anything. That in itself gave me some reassurance. I had Martin ship it to Jeff Averbook, an independent appraiser in the Boston area. We checked out the diamond and was able to see everything that I wanted and was assured that the specs matched the certificate. Now the diamond was off to Brian Gavin and his crew.

Brian Gavin
I knew my fiance wanted a custom ring so I did a little bit of shopping around before I finally decided to go with Brian Gavin. This was a decision that I definitely don't regret making. Their customer service was simple amazing. After speaking with both Brian and Lesley, I knew that I would be taken care of as a customer. I sent Lesley a couple of pictures of what I wanted the ring to look like and we exchanged emails back and forth to make sure she was clear on what I wanted. Then I spoke to Brian to see if the ring that I wanted was feasible to make. He sent me a couple of CADS so that I could take a look at the ring and also sent me a couple of pics while the ring was being made. The whole process took about 3 weeks.

On a side note, I did check out some of the diamonds that Brian and Lesley had to offer but in the end I went with Martin. Regardless, both of them offer great deals and Brian cuts AMAZING diamonds.

If you have any questions about either of these vendors, please feel free to ask away and I'd be glad to answer them.

That setting is really fluild and wonderful. Reminds me a little of MWM''s work. I''m so happy you had such great experiences. PLEASE come back with finger shots (and a head on shot of that gorgeous diamond). Congratulations.

Have you seen my pictures in my pendant thread?

God I was embarrassed to post them after Brian''s pics. My photography skills aren''t good, but... I didn''t think they were that bad. I have no idea how they do it.

Here's a picture of the ring if you were looking at it. It looks exactly the same from the back.

Here''s a picture from the top. Sorry for the bad quality, I don''t have my macro lens for my digital SLR right now so I couldn''t really take a great picture. It was taken with a P & S.
