Hello, I just purchased a Bulgari engagement ring, it's part of the "dedicata a venezia" collection, model name is "Giudecca". It's 0.73cts, F-VS1. I  really loved the pave setting and the side-stones, I found it original yet still classic. Any thoughts?

Ok, here' s the link: www.Bulgari.com then select English-United States, then from the new window select Jewels, then "new launches" then "dedicata a Venezia" and the Giudecca is the last one to the right.

Hi Nick,

opinions are subjective, if you like it and if your girlfriend like it, that is the most important !  but i do understand your concern, i asked the same just to have an idea on a random amount of people who like or dislikes..

I personally don't like it that much, but it is really matter of taste only,  i don't say it is ugly. i prefer the torcello (that i bought) or the 1503 setting, and  yes, it is classic and original at the same time, but i don't know.... how old is your wife/girlfriend ?  maybe i'm completely wrong, but i do see this ring on a 50+ lady.

Oh, the one on the far right is my favourite pick from that group.

I sincerely think its gorgeous and is pretty enough to be young and cute, and sophisticated enough to be for mature audiences! I think it is a really gorgeous design because its pretty simple with not much metal showing and delicate at the same time.

Dont forget to give us hand shots when its been bought!

I like it, different, but in a good way! However, I am almost 50.....

I  actually already bought it! :-) I like the Torcello as well but I know she wanted a Pave'  setting so I ended up picking the Giudecca. I was undecided between that and the 1503 but the thicker band  and the little side stones on the corners prevailed in the end!

Honestly, that was my concern as well, but if you see  the real thing as opposed  to the pic on the website, it has a much younger feel to it. BTW she's in her very early 30's but has pretty classic taste.

well, i can imagine and relate to what you just post,  the torcello pic on the bulgari website looked way different then the ring i saw in the store, maybe it's the way the bulgari pics are taken.... Of course since we have only the website pic to get the idea it is difficult to have an opinion on the "real look" of the ring...

btw :  congratulations on your engagement !

It is different - but in an architectural way - not an out-there-crazy way. Its a tasteful choice & I bet it is super sparkly and gorgeous in person. Congrats!

Both of you definitely need to come back and do threads on your rings, we don't have many Bulgari pieces on here!

can't agree more... very impressive customer service !  far from what i heard of the arrogance of some "cartier" and "tiffany"  employees.   Specially considering that i'm definately not the "type"  of clients they have,  don't think they see everyday a guy with t-shirt & baskets full of tattoo's    was already impressed when that let me in when i rang the bell.  LOL

I love the design -- but I'm older! But I do think it's a nice mix of classic, elegant, and vintage, and it sounds like you did a great job matching the ring to your gf' preferences/style.

Can I just say I think it's great that the store treated you well (very smart on their part!) and I also think it's great to see two young men posting on this forum about shopping at Bvlgari. When my husband was in his 20s and early 30s, he never would have even thought to shop at Bvlgari, much less had the guts to actually walk in the store! Your gf's are lucky ladies.

DITTO. You guys are AWESOME. Inventive. Bold. Brave. Love it! A beloved long-time poster here IndepedantGal had a wonderful vintage Bvlgari e-ring if I remember correctly. It really stood out amongst all the pave & classic solitaires (which are also lovely)! CONGRATS again!

Great to hear! Yeah walking into those types of stores can be a bit intimidating at first but the staff was so corteous and professional, they made it a wonderful purchasing experience! Glad you like the ring, I had to wait months before it came in. (they only allocate a few for the US market). Once I saw  it though I wouldn't settle for anything else!
