my thoughts: within price range, good measurements, good color. but what about the crown at 6.6%? is that a show stopper? also, i understand how the "idealscope" works, but ive not seen an idealscope image and then the real diamond, so i dont have much to compare to, take a look at the idealscope, practically speaking how does that size up? linkola Price: $3,605.00 Report: GIA Shape: Princess Carat: 1.07 Color: F Clarity: SI2 Depth: 67.8 Table: 70 Crown Angle: 29.3 Crown %: 6.6 Pavilion Angle: 61.8 Pavilion %: 58.9 Girdle: Medium to Slightly thick Polish: Excellent Symmetry: Good Culet: None Fluorescence: No Measurements: 5.86-5.83X3.95 Length/Width: 1.01 what are your opinions on this diamond? thanks!! i love this guy -->

It would probably be a whole lot prettier if the crown height was closer to 10% and the pavilion was a bit shallower...

Well, ![]() Flat crown, deap stone, large table... not really the defining properties of my favorite princess cut. This does not mean that the stone does not have a pleasing appearence: just that it does not fit witht the curent aestetic ideal for this cut. However, if the stone beats all odds and has some impressive sparkle, than it's geometric sins may be forgiven. Do you have an Ideal Scpe picture of it? The role of that tool precisely is to compensate for direct comparison of hundreds of stones, and the picture you are getting can be effectively compared with the standard for these readings. Not that the conclusion can be perfection itself, but it does tell much more than a few measurements... Ana "The greatest experts are only as good as the sum total of what they have seen."
