I am happily wearing my new 3-stone on my left hand, but dh worries that it looks like an engagement ring and would like me to get a band to wear with it.

What would look good? Plain gold? Eternity? I'm not opposed to having diamonds on the band, but worried it might detract from the 3-stone. I chose this setting for its simplicity, actually, and like the way it looks alone, so I'm having trouble coming up with a band idea. The band of my 3-stone is quite skinny and even a 2mm plan gold band would look too thick imho. Any ideas? Thanks!!! (BTW, I'm a size 8 and the 3-stone is 1.5cttw.)

I think an eternity band looks really nice with just about any ring. I have an eternity band as my wedding band and I don't think it takes away from my e-ring at all. It's like a supporting actor, it just adds to the performance of the main star. You can always get a really thin eternity band if you are worried that it will detract attention from your 3 stone ring. A simple gold band will also look great!

A thin pave band would look dynamite.

Thin pave eternity, definitely. Just be sure that the diamonds don't stratch against each other or that the diamonds don't scratch the platinum of the other ring, the eternity will have to be very low profile and set in.
