My girlfriend mentioned a particular setting by Simon G and I'm trying to find it. We looked on the simon g website but it wasn't there...can anybody help?

It is a platinum princess setting. The band is plain and traditional but it has an upside down v on each side of the setting filled with tiny bead set diamonds (18 in all I think). Has anyone seen one of these?

Sounds similar to a few Mark Morrell pieces that have been on here before. The V with bead set and a typical 4 or 6 prong head sounds familiar.

3rd ring down is what I am thinking of:

Thanks for your help but that's not the one. This setting is unique because if she put it on, the upsidedown "v"s would be facing her fingertip and her arm. Does that make sense?

Do you mean that this would look like a setting with trillion sides where the trillions would face the center stone with a tip instead of a side? I surely like the idea! I wander wether asking SG would not yield some more addresses of distributors who may have it. Is it among these by chance?
