0.005 ct = 1.0 mm
0.01 ct = 1.3 mm
0.015 ct = 1.5 mm
0.02 ct = 1.7 mm
0.03 ct = 2.0 mm
0.05 ct = 2.4 mm
0.06 ct = 2.5 mm
0.07 ct = 2.7 mm
0.10 ct = 3.0 mm

Thanks Stone cold, I was looking for the above chart and finally found it!

Found some sapphires locally that are pretty and VERY affordable (heat treated, but I don't really care, the color was a nice medium blue which I like). Have been wanting to re-set my 7 stone with alternating sapphires for a while now. The seven stone has 7 pointers. Wanted to see if the sapphires would work with just a stock setting for all same sized stones. They won't, unless they get some sapphires in for me. So I'm waiting for a qoute to see what six 2.7 mm sapphires would cost me. Not sure I'm going to do it. But needed to know the mm size to get the qoute.

I just ordered studs through BGD so I'm tapped out for the time being. Plus my car apparently needs 2000 in repairs over the next month and a half (though we are getting a second qoute on that). I'm still getting that new purse if John gets that job offer this week though damnit!

Sounds cool! Sorry about the car repairs! We just had a huge branch fall off our backyard monster tree & may need some extensive tree work asap. At least it didn't fall on our roof (this time). I feel yo bling-$-diverting pain! Sending job & car dust!

Thank you Deco, ditto with your Tree problems. My car was broken into yesterday. When we took it in to get fixed we asked them to do a complete check on it (2000 estimate resulted) and tomorrow John's car is going in for the same thorough inspection so I'm hoping his is in better shape than mine was. And he's getting injections in his spine tomorrrow. So I'm REALLY hoping tomorrow is better, AND that he gets a job offer. Fingers and toes are crossed.

Ahh... life. It does have a way of diverting bling plans, doesn't it?
