The thread about wedding night pics got me thinking. How do you ladies feel about B-pics being hung in a person's house? Do you think it would be weird to walk into someone's house and see a black and white of a nude back or hip on the wall?

I'm thinking about having a few of my Bpics framed (like my avatar). Some of them are a little risque, but not embarrassingly so in my opinion. But I'm a lot more open than other people. The last thing I want to do is make someone uncomfortable in my house but it seems like such a shame to relegate them all to FI's album and our bedroom. For clarification, I'm talking about pics with no butts or boobs, etc...

That's Mrs. Hudson_Hawk to you... Over and out.

Hmmm...I don't know. My instinct says keep 'em in the bedroom. But, I could possibly seem them in an "adult centric" house in maybe a bar / wine rack area. Do you have something like this? A space that is for entertaining, but more focused on adults?

I couldn't see pics like this in the living/family room, kitchen (ha ha!), dining room...maybe a long dark hallway??

I think there is an extremely fine line here. If you stay on the safe side of the line, I think having some of your b-pics framed and on display would be incredibly gorgeous and artistic, if you venture off too far I think it ends up looking kind of inappropriate and perhaps even trashy (depending on how far you were to go). A bare back in black and white would be beautiful, a bare front... not so much.

Our neighbor got b-pics for her husband as an anniversary gift. They are extremely risque and even include another girl. How do I know this? Oh because they are on display on their tv like a screen saver. So anytime they have company over and have music on the tv scans through semi and fully naked pictures of the wife both alone and with some random girl. IMHO, that is taking it a bit far. It's really uncomfortable so I tend to stay outside when they have parties. Not that you were considering this route, just thought I'd share my crazy neighbor story!

Personally, I wouldn't. It would stay in the bedroom (not on a wall), or in the album that they were given to him in.

If you like the pictures, I would frame one or two and put them anywhere you want. Honestly, how often do you have pictures of yourself that you really love? Your avatar pic, DEFINITELY frame-worthy IMO.

Definitely bedroom only. I'd feel really uncomfortable seeing a picture like that in a friend's home.

ETA: Also agree with Deco about arty shots of oneself in general.

i think you could have a set or a series of a few tasteful, like your avatar, in your master bathroom. nobody goes there! and its art, not porn! i would keep any lingerie shots out though. a nude back is fine, an arm is fine, i would say no lace, etc.

I used to babysit for 2 kids back in the day (Wednesday ) and their mom had some boudoir-y stuff hanging on the bedroom wall. Which is fine, but that was the kids' favorite room. So I had to see mommy topless with her arms wrapped around her tatas. Kinda disturbing!

I like the idea of having some stuff out that's not obviously from a b-pic shoot. But then it gets put away after the kids can walk/talk/have babysitters.

also if you are open, chances are your friends are open too! i'm trying to imagine walking into a friends house and seeing that-i might make a joke about it but i would def. not get offended, unless there was nudity and children around. the more i consider this, the more i think it's fine! the reason most people don't have art in their homes is because they can't afford it. if you can, and you have some interesting and beautiful pieces, then why not display them? like an art gallery..you don't run away offended when you see nudity BECAUSE IT'S EVERYWHERE! i know a lot of people will disagree, but i don't think it matters who the photograph is of...if it's beautiful, and it happens to be a friend of mine, i'm ok with seeing it in her house!

I would keep them in your master bedroom or in your closet (if you have a walk in with a light or something). When I finally get around to having my b-pics done that's where I would put them.

If you wouldn't post it here, it stays in the bedroom, if not in an album away from view.

Just think carefully about everyone who could possibly see them, and whether you would mind. Parents, grandparents, kids, strangers - they've all wandered in and out of my bedroom at one point or another, and I would DIE before I let them see those kind of pics. No matter how tastefully done, they still show a side of you that you might not want to show to great-aunt Betty. Be aware that just because you're not embarrassed by it, other people might be.

But if you're sure you wouldn't care, and it wouldn't bother any potential viewers too much, then it's not a problem.

See I would be perfectly fine with it - as long as the pic was TOO racy. :-) I think if its done tasteful its fine. But I would keep it probably to the bedroom, hallways, den or something like that - not like the formal dining room. lol

I would worry that co-workers or male friends would see the pics and that would be awkward, at best.  I don't think I could display them anywhere except bedroom or away from general public viewing.

If the pics are really pretty and artistic. I will frame them and put it on the master bedroom.

Eek! Eek! Eek! This might be the single craziest thing I have ever seen on PS! I think you are one heck of a friend for even going to their house after seeing this!

ETA: Hudson, sorry to reply without answering your question. That was kinda rude. As far as your avatar, I would never know it came from a b-pic session if you hadn't said. Pics like that, IMO, would be fine to hang anywhere. But, if it is anything that would be, to the prude eye, a potentially risque pic, I would keep it in an area no one would see if they were a guest in your home.

i think the more artsy-risque ones would look great framed in the master bath, or if you have a large walk-in closet on the wall. I'm not being sarcastic or anything, I think you should enjoy those pictures, and anyone that is close enough to go in the more private areas of your home. My friend has a huge closet. it has a desk in it and an island that has drawers and a few shelves, so she has a bunch of wall space and in my friend's art collection was a nude sketch (not of either of them) and it hangs in there,  I like it there, it kind of fits in with the room.

Anything remotely risque and I would keep it to a bedroom only and something that can easily be hidden away if you have Grandma coming over ya know?

Wow...nudie pixs on their TV screen? Wonder what kind of ratings they get during "Sweeps Week"

Personally, I can barely stand to see myself nekkid...doubtful that my friends & family would enjoy a gallery viewing  - one word - EYEBLEACH!

Tasteful pictures in your bedroom only and if you wouldn't want your dad to see it I wouldn't hang it anywhere.

Definitely bedroom only, but I'd love to get B-pics and put them up!
