When I discussed the setting with the jeweler, we decided on split prongs on the corners of my radiant stone - but when we picked up the ring, the goldsmith had put single prongs on the corner, stating that he thought this looked better...but the idea was to show off the radiant shape! I love the ring the way it is, but I'm also wondering if I would like it better if the prongs were doubles. People keep asking me if it's a square stone b/c of the prongs at the corners make it look square! Anyway, what do you all think? should I give the ring back to get the prongs changed? |

Since when does the goldsmith get to decide what looks better? I'd have him re-do it for sure. Then if YOU don't like the way it looks, you can have him re-do it again.
