But I don't like them at all. They're much more silvery grey than blue and well.. just bleh on me so I won't be keeping them
I did get an email from Pearl Outlet that they'll be going on sale there soon. Maybe I'll try again but this time call beforehand so I can get a real pic before ordering.

So for Kelli, or anyonee else that thought of getting them, here they are before going back.

Wow, I really like them! They are definitely more silver than blue; have you tried different lighting? Does it change? Its definitely a good idea to call ahead, I'm sure they would be accommodating and find a strand that is more blue than silver. I didn't really even realize that they could be so silver, because the ones online seem very blue. Thanks for putting up pics!

See, you and me have a better time than most can dream,
Have it better than the best, and so can pull on through.
Whatever tears at us, whatever holds us down,
And if nothing can be done,
We'll make the best of what's around.

ME TOO! If i take a close up pic (on macro) they do look a bit more blue. But from normal viewing distance, the blue kinda gets dulled out by the silver.

I haven't worn them outside so the pics were taken indoors and as all my windows face north, it's kinda dark in my apartment. I may try to wear them out once, maybe tomorrow and see what they look like in natural light and like you said, maybe they'll be shifts in color.  I'm not so sure they're gonna look much bluer though

Too bad you don't like them! I think they're beautiful and look lovely on you--in fact, if I'd known they'd be that pretty gray color I might have considered getting them myself.

But if you don't like them, you should return them.

They are absolutely gorgeous on you but I agree if you don't like them you should keep them.

Thank you Glitterata and Skippy

Glitt- They're still available if you're interested. Here's the link  The price is pretty good. They start at 120 for the 7-7.5mm strand.

But yeah, I tried them on again last night and just can't myself like them. They're going back. Oh well, will try again when Peal Outlet has them.

Thanks for posting pics:) It's a shame they're not actually blue, but I still think they're really pretty. The baroque shape is nicer than I thought it would be.

Kelli- It is a shame. I was really looking forward to this strand.

SDL- Thank you They are very pretty but almost too pretty for me.  I guess I just like weird, funky colors.

They look great! But yeah, you have to love them. I actually own a strand. Mine are silvey blue and have great rose colored overtones. One of my favorite necklaces.

Just wanted to mention, you could always request a strand that has more blue to it or darker pearls. I think the color of natural akoyas vary just like they do with freshwaters ( some more gold etc). Yours are a little on the paler and more silver side maybe.

Hey InnerKitten- Yours sound exactly like what i was hoping mine would be.

Do you have  pics of yours anywhere?

I may call PP before sending them back to see if they have anything else.

i ordered them as well in the 8-8.5 range and i love them. i have a very pink complexion and i think it helps to enhance the blue although i will say they are more silver than blue.

mmmm...diamonds.....

There is one in this link, I could post another one too.

http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=112765

I bought these the first time PP ever sold them and at the time they only had about 50 strands. They are from Jeremy's pearl farm. The photo is kind of blurry and really doesn't do them justice.

Asscherhalo_lover- Oh, I'm pink.. lol. Even when I tan I don't turn that nice golden color, i turn copper. I also thought that my pink complexion would enhance the blue and to be honest, it does. Off my skin they look even more grey.

InnerKitten- Your strand is what I was hoping for. Can't believe there's a such a difference in color but the description's the same.
