Gifts for the ring bearers? |

Is the groom typically suppose to give a gift to the ring bearers? A wedding is coming up and my boys will have the honor of carrying the rings. I read that the groom is to give gifts AND my kids came upon that info too - via a book that they were given by a family member! Thoughts?

MC sorry for not remembering this, but how old are your boys? I found these AWESOME gifts at Pottery Barn kids that are pretty inexpensive..book # 1 book # 2.

I don't think anyone should ever expect gifts...so your kids need to be careful there and make sure they understand that. But if I had ring bearers in my wedding I would have gotten them a small gift.
