Hi All, With a $5K, budget, I believe I have what I need to put together a nice legacy replica for my gf from Excel Diamonds. However, I'm stuck on the cushion diamond. I need to narrow it down to 2-3 cushion diamonds so I can send off to the guys to physically see. Here are my choices (sorry the formatting is poor): ID# 261164 261167 273692 273757 287084 290465 303405 303413 339828 342203 Price $2,954.00 $3,047.00 $2,614.00 $2,793.00 $2,614.00 $2,844.00 $2,963.00 $2,793.00 $2,560.00 $3,049.00 Carat 1.09 1.09 1.02 1.09 1.02 1.11 1.06 1.09 1.01 1.01 Color H I I I I I I H I H Clarity SI1 VS1 VS2 VS2 VS2 VS2 VS1 SI1 VS1 VVS2 Polish Very good Very good Very good Very good Very good Very good Very good Very good Excellent Excellent Symm Very good Very good Good Good Good Good Good Very good Very good Very good Depth 68.9 68.6 69.3 67.9 63.4 68.2 69.6 69.4 69.5 68.1 Table 64% 60% 59% 58% 63% 64% 62% 63% 64% 66% Girdle medium medium slight thick thin to to thick thick I'm going to have physically see these diamonds but i need a starting point. I just want to have the best bang for my buck, not necessarily the most expensive one. Thanks in advance. |

Do you have any photographs and or ASET images for these diamonds please? Info on ASET images below. http://www.highperformancediamonds.com/index.php?page=education-performance ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. It is impossible to judge a cushion (or any other fancy shape) from just the numbers--there are too many variables as far as overall shape and faceting. That being said, if it was me, I would look at the ones with Very Good symmetry first and only if none of them were appealing look at the ones with Good symmetry. At the Good level, it is getting to the point where the naked eye may or may not be able to see the difference.

I just requested the images, so I expect them to come in within a day or so.

Yep, you have to wait and sort them out once you have pictures. Check GOG because they often have some nice square cushions or can get some in.

Here is the link for two of the diamonds. Judah suggested these for me. What do you think?

The ASET on the second one is much better. Should be a better performer than the first.
