Sadly I have no pictures of myself in the actual dress, but I promise to get some once I order it. However, in order to do that, I want to pick out my shoes first! They are going to order the dress hollow-to-hem, so rather than guess at what height heel I'll probably go for, I decided to try and hunt down the shoes first. I've included a stock photo of the dress. Here is what I am looking for: Ideally a light shade of blue (no darker than a cornflower blue). I haven't picked out anything else color wise so the blue doesn't have to match any particular shade. If not blue then either ivory or gold. Vintagey feel to match the dress Size 7 Mid-height heel (1.5-2 in). I have no problem with a higher heel if everything else is perfect, but FI is only about 4 inches taller than me so I'm trying to keep it out of that range. I fell in love with the j.crew augusta peep toe in faded aqua but alas they are completely gone in that color, but that may give you an idea of my style. TIA ladies! Steph Getting married 4-30-2010!

I called a third shop, where I had tried on other dresses and gotten amazing customer service (not to mention it's relatively close to my work) and asked them if they could order it. I knew they carried Casablanca dresses so I figured it would be a possibility. After they gave me their price, I told them that I really would love to work with them and reward their great service, but I had been quoted $100 lower from pearl's place.
