We live on the beach, it's my dream place! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I love living in Dublin however the area where we live, isn't the one that I want to live in when we buy our own house. It's fine for the moment and it's close to everything.

I don't think I want to live in New Jersey forever. But I suppose it's fine for now.

We haven't had a say in where we've lived for a while. DH applied "early assurance" to med school, so once he got in, we were basically required to be here for 4 years. Now he's in the Navy, so we won't be able to choose where we live for a while. That being said, these past 4 years here have been wonderful, and I love this area except for it not being closer to family, and this is my 2nd choice for where we would settle permanently. My first choice for where to settle permanently is the Pittsburgh suburbs area because that is where all of our family is, and we still have really close friends there.

Rural Hawaii is pretty nice, I like it better than anywhere I've lived in the past. I don't have any wish to live anywhere else.

No, out of all the European countries I would never have picked Germany, but at the same time it is a unique experience. I want to live and will live back on the east coast eventually.

I like the city that I'm in, but I'm not a huge fan of the physical building that I am a resident of. I'd like to buy a house soon! ~ Let all the people of the world say what they please I alone know what I do ~ |

I love Florida but I hate South Florida. If I had a choice, I would move to Kissimmee or Orlando (Kissimmee being first choice). Unfortunately there are no jobs there for me so in Miami is where I stay.

I would love to live closer to Boston where I work and where most of my friends are. We're about an hour to an hour and a half south of Boston. Sometimes I hate RI, but then summer comes around and I'm reminded of all of the amazing things I have access to here. I do love being by the ocean.

I do like where I live now. A lot. But at the same time, I'm willing to go live elsewhere for the right opportunity. We're at a turning point right now and I'm just kind of waiting to see what pans out- that being said, I may very well be leaving the city I've come to love.

I LOVE where we live now...the burbs of Orlando. It is a few minutes drive to the beach, great parks everywhere, great shopping and dining and unlimited things to do for fun (especially for a family) and the weather is awesome. I hope we don't move anytime soon!

I like living in the DC area, but I will always want to live in New Orleans again. I can't do what I do there, though, so DC it is.

I am in Chicago, and despite the rough winters, high taxes, and annoying traffic, I love it. It's a beautiful city with great architecture - the skyline never fails to take my breath away. There is so much to do - great sports, music, theater. There are parks and beaches. And there are good people here.

I love it where I am and plan to stay. I live on the east coast of florida about 1/2 down. Been here for 20 years or so. It still has some what of a small town feel (not too small though) and I have access to all the fun things in Orlando. |

I'll move! It's not that I hate where I'm living (though it's definitely not my favourite place I've lived), it's just that I'm always up for adventure and this is starting to get dull. Time to move! And where I'd move...pretty much anywhere. I'd prefer to leave the country, but if I had to stay in the US it'd be back to Virginia or NYC. I'm looking at grad schools in both areas, so I'll probably end up in one of those two places in the next few years -- unless I manage to land a job overseas, in which case I'm gone and I don't want to come back!

If I had my choice, I'd move back to the Boston area where I grew up (buy a house in a suburb of Boston). I like NYC, but I'm not a city girl at heart, and I miss the ocean (the real ocean, Hudson bay is not the ocean). Since we badly want a house, but need to be near NYC, we will probably end up buying somewhere in CT (Stamford/Norwalk area). Tecnicallly it's New England, and I can live with that. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

I love living in my town--which is a main burb of Chicago. We're close to everything important...but not in the middle of the city all the time. Our home is comfortable and we're close to my family...which I enjoy. We have balance here. We get all the seasons--so you can really **feel** like the holidays are coming, or Spring has sprung...those little things are nice, too. But... We do talk, every so often, about moving to Miami or Charlotte or Las Vegas even Texas .... just somewhere warmer. The cold isn't my friend. I have a weak immune system...and if someone within a 10 mile radius is sick, chances are I'll get it soon. Warmer weather makes me just feel better. But we'll probably never really leave. Chicago is my hometown, and I'd miss it to much! ____________________________ |

Love the town, area and people. Eventually I would like to design and build my own house (not have someone build, I want to do most of the work myself) on about 5 acres a few miles out of town.

I really like where I live - it's close enough but far away enough from DH and my families, there's a beautiful landscape around us, people are friendly, cost of living is right, and I could definitely see raising a family here - but, I'm open to moving if the opportunity presented itself in the next 10 years. I do want to settle forever once we have a child who is school aged.

I LOVE where I live! I'm close to everything I need, and the neighborhoods are SO pleasant, eclectic and beautiful. I've lived in St. Louis, MO all my life, except for a few years in undergrad, when I lived in Chicago. However, given the chance, I'd move some place new. Not because I dislike where I live now, but because I would really like to experience living somewhere else again. I might like to try living in Arizona or Colorado. That would be lovely.

I like the midwest well enough, but if I had some awesome opportunity arise, I would move to Florida/Georgia/Carolinas/Alabama in a heartbeat.

I love living in San Diego County, I do not enjoy living in the suburbs. There are several areas of San Diego I have my eye on, all much closer to downtown, much more walkable, and lots more to see and do. If we were to move out of California I'd love to live in Chicago; the only problem is family would be so far away, and when we tried making that move it made me very sad.

Right now, where I live is perfect for me. I love the city we're in and the neighborhood & house, as well. We plan to stay put in either this home or in the same school district until the kids graduate. Then, DH and I will move to a smaller house preferably waterfront. (Regardless of which town/city/location - I will always live in the North Seattle area. Even if we won the lotto, we'd live close to where we do now.)

I love the AREA that we live in, but not WHERE we live - which is with my in-laws. ![]() It's not too bad considering that we are managing to save so much money for our own place and because we basically have our own "apartment" in their house. But it's still with the in-laws ya know.

I'm not a big fan of the where we live, Central Valley of CA. But, it is where my job is and where DH is going to school. We plan on moving when he is done with school and would love to move up to the bay area. We would love to be able to walk to restaurants, stores, entertainment, etc.

We're right on Lake Huron and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else from April through December. But we'll be buying a second house in Florida this year. This past Michigan winter finally broke me.
