scarleta Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,545 Last Post: 9/20/2009 Member Since: 2/25/2006	I wonder if anyone can let me know if these are recommended over glass patio cover? I am not sure how durable they are and what to look for? We currently have old aluminum cover which blocks all the sun and keeps the area too cool.Thanks

If it can be fitted, you will have to be careful of wind and rain, which is always a concern with fabric awnings. Otherwise they are quite durable if you buy a decent quality of material.

I am thinking of that or glass and not sure which way to go.It would be nice to have the patio covered all year which would leave us with glass option. Thinking of all options.
