I ordered the setting to fit 2ct round diamond. It comes back as only 7.5mm maximum...that mean a 2ct won't fit to it. In order to mount a 2ct, the jeweler have to drill down to the band so that the prongs can hold the diamond securely on the top, but if doing that way, we will not see the bottom tip of the diamond because it is hidden under the hole that jeweler just drilled. so mad and so sad. I need the ring this weekend, so no time to return and if return it cost money and time. I expected Novori use Platinum for prongs, but they are not.
I ended up having the jeweler take that prongs out and put new set of prongs in.

One more thing...I ordered size 6, but when I put into my finger, it is a bit loose. I have 2 other rings size 6 and they fit perfect to my finger, but this ring is a bit loose. I forgot to have jeweler check the size for me, but I will do it later.

The size is small thing, but the prongs are not fit for a 8mm diamond that I order is unacceptable.

oh, i'm so sorry you had a bad experience with them, I've checked into them a couple of years back but did not purchase from them. I hope all goes well soon. Did you tell them specifically the mm that you needed for the opening?

Yes. I did put in the measurements on the order. I did say 2ct round and the exact measurement of the diamond too. ex8.##mm x ### x ###).

I went through bluenile, jamesallen, stuller...ect but Novori have the ring/setting that I like. the price is more than other competitors, but since I like the setting, so I go ahead bought it ($300 more than similar one at Jamesallen) and now I have to pay roughly $200 more and my time to have it done correctly.

I first though the Jeweler messing around....., but he is the best reputable jeweler in the area...he won't do that. Also, I looked at the prongs myself, the prongs are not long enough to cover it.

hmm, have you talked to them about it yet, because if you mentioned the size and you have papertrail or email proof, then it is clearly their mistake that I would think they should correct. Try talking to them to get something done, you shouldn't be stuck with something that was no fault of yours.
