Viola Rough Rock Total Posts: 55 Last Post: 10/8/2009 Member Since: 5/19/2009	I'm buying an engagement gift for a friend, and have decided (I think) on pearl studs. She's about 5'6-5'7, and 26. I'm trying to figure out which size will suit her best, I don't want them to be to small, and obviously not to big, so I thought that either the 8.5mm-9mm or the 9.5mm-10mm will be a good size. I've been eyeing Freshadamas from PearlParadise, but then I discovered the "regular" freshwater pearls that are button-shaped. So I'm having a hard time picking a pair, I'm thinking the button-shaped ones in that size will sit nicer on the ear lobe, or am I wrong? I'm afraid that the AAA-ones or the freshadamas will be to round, and not sit as nice on the ear. I really think 7mm is ideal for normal wear unless she really dresses up a lot. My Tahitian studs may be 8mm, but I wouldn't wear larger than that. I'd get the Freshadamas, personally. ~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~

The 8.5-9 mm ones are big but not ridiculous. I think they're the biggest I could go without the earrings sagging. I would honestly get her the 8.5-9 mm Freshadamas - rounds are more traditional and I think the size will be fine (it'll make a statement, while still sitting well on the earlobe). **********************
