Hi, I recently had my engagement ring re-set and I'm quite happy with it but as I wont be able to afford an upgrade for a while was wondering whether I could get some added sparkles onto the band. I think it might look nice with my wedding band which has a sort of shared prong look with princess cuts. I'm honestly not sure I need more, but thought I'd ask the experts! Personally I'm finding the band on the ER a bit flat looking which I know was done to match the profile of the princess cut wedder but personally I prefer a rounded look (which is a shame as I have all princess cuts!!) There is a small pink diamond on either side of the setting so I had thought maybe I could incorporate that into the pave if I go that way. Alternatively, I'm also looking at an eternity band which I might be able to squeeze a couple of pinks into ![]() I'll attach a pic of the current rings ...

I would suggest going into a jewelry store with a large ring selection and trying on different combo's with your wedding band. I personally probably would not do a pave e-ring with a princess shared prong wedding band, but i've never seen it in person and it might work. you'll only know if you go and try things on with your actual ring though. if you're wanting added sparkle have you thought about a 3 stone? I think maybe adding princess sidestone's would be really pretty. |

I'm in the process of saving myself and it's getting tempting to buy something cheaper just to have it but I have found that it really is better just to save up and get the whole the right the first time.. I have $$$$ down the drain b/c I didn't do just that
