Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your help in Rocky Talky about my decision between JAmes Allen vs Whiteflash earrings for my mothers 60th birthday.  I finally decided on a pair of huggies from Brian Gavin Diamonds, and they arrived today.  They are gorgeous (imo), and very delicate.  My mother doesn't wear anything overstated and I was a bit worried they might be too big versus a pair of small studs, but they're perfect.  I will attach a few pics.  Lesley has been wonderful in sourcing a lovely solution for my limited budget, we did go a touch over but I would have anyway with the Whiteflash flower clusters that were my second choice.  The tcw on these little beauties is much better than anything else I saw even close to the budget.  They are .64 tcw, H/I colour and SI.  I would have been really nervous buying this colour/clarity straight off an online website, but I was happy that BGD wouldn't sell anything that wasn't up to scratch.  Love to hear your thoughts.

I forgot to mention, I had a slight query about the closure on the earrings so sent Lesley an email, and within 10 minutes I had a response as well as a phone call, all the way to Australia, at 4am Texas time, from Brian to explain it to me.  That's pretty amazing customer service if you ask me!

Very pretty! Please post an ear shot so we can have some perspective of size! There are potentially a lot of people who might be interested in some of those!

Yes, I have a few more shots to add.  I thought it might be rude to take preliminary ear shots of something I'm giving as a gift??!  Maybe not ...

They look GREAT!!  Are the diamonds on both the front and the back?  From the shot with the quarter it looks like it.

I think they are a very classic size and not too blingy!  I'd love more details about your process with them and what to call these earrings when I call Brian and ask for a pair -- I'm kidding but partly serious here.
