There is a ring on eBay I am thinking about buying (ok, there are several). I am wondering if there is a limit to how far one should really resize a ring?? I would need a 7.5 .. one of the rings in question is 4.75, another 5.5 Any advice would be great! Thanks.

normally if a ring has diamonds in the band they don't recommend going up or down more than a half size or so. maybe more, maybe less depending on the style. I would try moving any ring with diamonds in the band 2 sizes though.
