Haha, you may be in luck, I don't think the umbalites have gotten snapped up quite as fast as some of the "sexier" picks like the malayas ;) I'm curious to see the blue spinel, too big for me I think, but curious to see it. Nothing in the drop is really calling to me to buy it though (which is a good thing for the wallet).

I know the blue green tourmaline is going to be a beauty. I bet the umbalite is as well. If you miss the umbalite from Barry, check with Gene. He has some great umbalite material and will cut you one affordably! And having just received 3 stones from Barry, I am really excited for the drop. Looks like some great stones. Too bad I'm all spent...

Yeah, I can't wait to see the new stuff. Don't know that I'll be able to afford any of them, but it'll be fun to look!

I'm super excited about the upcoming drop. Not sure anything in particular is calling to me at this point but I'm a bit impulsive... I've seen way too many pretty Barry stones recently. I can't help but lust after one of my own. They're all so pretty!

Sort by price when you look at it. That will help you identify the couple of rows of items that are in your budget. I will also say his stones are way more beautiful in person, so if you like the picture and the description speaks to you, then it is likely a beauty for you.

I tried to get that sapphire from him last week, but he wouldn't let me have first crack at it. Boooooo! I've actually moved on from that, and decided to send him on a wild goose chase for some other incredibly hard to find rough. ![]() I'm wearing my Barry pink tourmaline right now and my sister CRIED when I gave her the Barry Peridot ring.

I saw the sapphire listed too. I don't really like color changers though because I'm not a huge fan of purple :/ Hehe, good thing I have friday off!

I can't wait to see the new stones. I will have to try and maintain control over my wallet. Well, maybe not too much control. That 5.8 tourmaline, may have to be mine...

ooh i'm tempted by one of the pink/peachy oval tourmalines. And maybe the citrine and/or golden beryl. Need happy summery stones.

I did try to sign up for the newsletter but I don't think I did it right as I haven't heard anything. So could anyone please tell me if there are going to be any blue/purple spinels or sapphires? I'm on the hunt for a bigger ering stone. Thanks ![]() Dayna

so bad news: i'm in montana for a wedding. And friday is the day before, and we're going to be up and running from the morning so I might miss the drop. I did want the yellow beryl. Good news! Barry's cutting one for me instead. Yay! Finally, my search for a sunny yellow stone can end

Would anyone be willing to post a summary of what's going to be on the drop? I've just registered on ACS so I'm not familiar with how it works....will we get an email when the new stones are listed or do you just continously stalk his site until they magically appear? I pretty much do that every day anyway! ![]()

Ok so I just checked and I am now SURE that I need that 5.8mm tourmaline. It is the almost perfect match size-wise for one of the tourmalines in my Barry set. And the other small stone in the set is a perfect fit for my LOGR pendant. It's almost too perfect. If they're anywhere close, color wise, i'm buying it. Just putting that out there![]()

Date: 4/29/2009 10:55:39 PM I don't think it will match your set of three. More bluish less greenish. But I could be wrong.

Diana, he usually drops them on his site at 10am Arizona time (since they don't do Daylight Savings) on the first of the month. The site is down for 2 hours beforehand. _______________________________ "Women are either goddesses or doormats." Pablo Picasso "In all matters of opinion, our adversaries are insane." Mark Twain |
