Check it out here: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20275425,00.html She's 44 and working a lot so I wonder if that's why they got the surrogate. Regardless, I'm happy for them. Those girls will be well dressed!!! ![]()

Good for them. Maybe that is why all the breakup rumors were going around? Hiding the fact that they have a surrogate?

I heard it's because, even though they have their one son, they've recently been having trouble getting pregnant. Either way, it's great baby news!

Good for them! I always find it really heartwarming when families go the extra mile to have kids. It just makes me think about how much they must want these kids, and I think that's fantastic.

Hmm...maybe they got a surrogate to try to squelch some of the breakup rumors, although I hope not! That woman angers me--she's almost 20 years my senior, and her bod is ridonkulous! ::jealousy subsides:: Wonder if I could get them to adopt me so I could raid her shoe closet....

Aww, cute little bebes for the Brodericks! Yay! Surrogacy is something I don't think I could handle, psychologically. It's amazing to me that people can.

Wow. She has been very abrupt about having more kids in interviews I always wondered why that was. One interview sticks in my mind where, when asked if they would have more kids, she replied to the effect of - I would never answer a question like that which reflects on our happiness with our Son. Weird huh? P.S. Thanks for the link Curly!

Good for them! And of course they are using a surrogate, I don't know what the actual numbers are, but very few 44 year old women are able the safely get preggo and carry to term. *** Dreamer *** |

But at 44 isn't it usually the eggs and not the uterus? So does that mean that these are likely not bio-kids of SJP? (Of course, rampant gossipy speculation involved.)

I'm happy for them whatever the circumstance (although I do hope the babies are biologically both of theirs). Matthew's affair started all types of nasty rumors about him wanting to leave her for years and simply tolerating her for the sake of their son. Maybe they're putting the past in the past and really putting their lives back together again.

I actually meant as the parent (though I'm sure it's another can of worms for the surrogate). I would be too jealous of the surrogate, and it would be so frustrating not to be able to experience it all. I would much rather adopt, personally but I do think it's an amazing thing for people who can deal with it.

I hope they're happy, I'm a big fan of SJP I think she's lovely. And I like his work too, Ferris Bueller, and Election to name just two movies. I get the feeling he's not too sure though, in those latest photos he doesn't look like a happy man at all.
