Hello I'm back! It's been a while and I've been good... no new itches until recently! I suffered diamond shrinkage with my earrings (G VS2 1.2ctw), and started looking for something else. So I thought of finding a soulmate for my pendant and converting it into earrings. And I did! ![]() Pendant stone: 1.26ct I SI2 Med Blue New stone: 1.27ct I SI1 Med Blue I regretted not bezelling my earrings previous even though they are really nice in four prong martinis at the moment. And I want some bezels badly now. But would setting the new pair in bezels be too much? I searched through the bezel threads and it looks like 0.6ct and under make for the optimum size in a bezel. Also had plans to find a third musketeer for the old earrings, and convert them into a trilogy/trinity ring. But now... if I can't bezel the new ones, and I want bezels so bad, I might just bezel the old ones and keep them as earrings. So guys, should I bezel the new ones and create a trilogy ring with the old stones? Or do a martini with the new, bezel the old and forget the trilogy?

Thanks for responding MrsSalvo and Ellen, I think I'll go along with that too. However, the idea of a three-stone ring is still very tempting! **Formerly known as MM** |
