Hello everyone. We are going to be engaged very soon once we have this diamond picked out. I have searched thoroughly online and eliminated the bad diamonds by using the HCA cut adviser test. I narrowed down my selection of diamonds but am having a TREMENDOUSLY hard time deciding on one of the following. Please assess thoroughly and provide me with your honest feedback. each one has its pros and cons. 1.21 G VS2 $6661 6.88 x 6.91 x 4.21 mm |

Hi Chapter! Really it is best to have images such as Idealscope to properly analyze a diamond as a diamond can look good by the numbers, but there is info we are missing. I took a look at your selections, my favourite is the last one, 1.21. It would be a little smaller than the 1.38. If you like the 1.38 then ask BN to find out if it is eyeclean and let your expectations be known, I would really want to see an Idealscope image for this angle combo to check for leakage though. As this one has a grade making cloud inclusion, I would be very wary of this one in case the cloud causes a loss of brilliance. If the diamond was in house then I wouldn't worry quite as much but as it is from a drop shipper I would be cautious. So I would concentrate more on the others for now for these reasons or try to find another of similar size. Idealscope - http://www.pricescope.com/idealscope_indx.asp The 1.30 I VS has potential too. Pricing can vary for many reasons also, no way to tell really why one diamond is cheaper than another. Also just wanted to mention if you might want to get a larger diamond one day, BN does not offer an upgrade policy unlike some of the other vendors, so if an upgrade might be something you would like in time, you might want to factor that into your decision process. Also inclusions are seen and graded under 10x mag not 40, some SI inclusions might be visible to the naked eye so you will need to check carefully with the seller concerning any diamonds of this grade. ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse.
