The first one is a pretty medium, but the second's a bit light.

The first looks to have a nice medium tone. The second is a bit on the lighter side. It's up to you which one you prefer. My personal preference is the round one.

I like the first one, it has a nice tone and sparkle to it.

I like them both too. The round one seems more saturated and the oval looks nicely cut and clear. Very nice.

I prefer the round cut, but I like the lighter green on the oval. It's so spring! One of these days I'm going to get a garnet from John.
