 My New Furbaby - Otto!

 		Yesterday we picked up our brand new baby bunny, Otto! He's so so cute I him. He's really cautious and still getting comfortable with his new setup. He'll plant his back feet down and stretch out as far as he can in every direction before he makes a move  Even then, he doesn't hop like a regular bunny, he walks using his back feet individually. It's so funny to watch. He's really into his toys too, and runs over every time you pick up his little ball. He seems to like pushing on things with his nose.

I can't wait til he gets a little bolder and starts coming out of his cage and running around!

 		This is when I took him out of his cage to see if he would run around his little play area. He explored a little, but then was content to just sit here and look out the window.

 		Whitby, thanks! He already seems very happy here, if a bit cautious of things

NEL, yep, he's 8 weeks. And his ears *definitely* seem way too big for his body. Lol I can't wait to see if he grows into them, or if they just keep growing longer the bigger he gets.

RLG, he's a Holland Lop. He was 1.7lbs at the vet this morning, but he should get somewhere between 3 and 4lbs when he's fully grown.

Maisie, I'll make sure to capture more pics of his cuteness as he gets out and starts exploring more

 		Catmom, I never thought of him being a cow bunny. Lol. The amount of hay he already eats is pretty cow-like too.

Skippy, it's really hard to restrain myself from sitting in front of his cage and petting him non-stop. Haha. And he doesn't mind being picked up, so I'll have to get my fill of snuggles in case he decides he's too cool to snuggle when he grows up.

BEG, I'll definitely be taking more pics! My goal is to get a few of his adorable bunny toes for Lorelei Baby bunnies with their toes sticking out are the cutest thing.

Amandine, his whiskers are pretty cute. Especially because a lot of the ones on his left side are black because of his spot there, and the ones on his right side are white. the lopsided spot on his nose.

Can you tell me more about keeping a bunny as a pet???  (Maybe Boo needs a little BUNNY BROTHER????!)  

Does he have to stay in his cage when you aren't home, or can he have free range of your home?  Does he use a litter box???  How does having a bunny compare to having a kitty, do you know???  Any difficulties with having a pet bunny???   Oh, I WANT ONE!!!! 

He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stinkin' cute!  I'm going back to look at his pictures again!!!   

And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it!
