Hello everyone,

I'm new here and wasn't sure which forum to post into, but this one seemed the most relevant.

I am currently beginning to do my research early on engagement rings and was looking to try to find a list of some of the big engagement ring designers. I know there are huge price differences and advantages to non-designer brands, but my girlfriend has hinted that she wants something name brand. I am also looking at a lot of specialty designers as well, because I would like to get her something very individual and personal. She has left the ball in my court as to the picking of the ring, she wants to be surprised so most likely I will be working with her mom on this one. I am just looking to do preliminary research at the moment and was wondering if people could just point me in the direction of different designers and/or websites to start looking at to find designs or ideas or even if it ends up she wants a designer one. I've started looking at pearlmans and bluenile just to see the different types of bands out there..any help would be appreciated or directing me to the right form.

I hope she shows her mom some examples of styles she likes, because it will be VERY hard to get the right ring otherwise!  I'd even ask her just to show you a few she likes to have an idea of where to begin.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
