My James Meyer sapphire ring |

My ring came today. The sapphire is 1.51 cts. flat faceted by Richard Homer. I went through Wink Jones to get the stone.

The bezel and wraps are 18k yellow gold and the shank is 14K white gold. The ring is very delicate in real life. You actually have to look closely to be able to tell that the bezel is yellow because it's very thin. The rest of the pictures I took seem to be blurry/not good. If I get around to getting any flowers tomorrow I will take more. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Date: 4/8/2009 1:14:59 AM Flat faceting is not the concave cut that Richard usually does. It's the way that most stones are cut. (although he cuts with more precision I guess you'd say) After doing a lot of reading, it seems like people like concave cuts on lighter colored stones so I opted against it for this one.
