My hubby said I can get one! YAY! I have to trade in my cushette...but I'm slowing becoming more okay with that! So I'm getting one cut for me in the next couple of months, Jonathan sent out an email to the cutter to start looking for rough to cut my stone! YAY! Its going to be ~1.2-1.4 carats, which will be the perfect size for my size 4 finger! Its going to be eyeclean SI1 or SI2 and I or J in color! I'm a little nervous about the J though...is that still going to face up white? I hope so! Anyways! I'm offically starting to save up for my dream setting for it! With this size I feel okay spending the $$$ on a setting that I will wear a very long time! No re-sets for me! My dream setting will probably be at least 6 months from now, but I'm planning on having either Ari at singlestone make it, or Brian the cutter make it! YAY! I'm sorry I have no pics, but I just had to share! I'm trying to talk my hubby into letting me get the stone early June so its the one I get married with..but we'll see! I have to pay off the rest of the wedding before then to get him to agree...but I think I can do it! If not, I have to wait until June, but thats okay anyways! I'm going to post pics of my dream setting inspirations so you guys can help me file out the details! I want my cushion to be the main show in my setting, but I want accent side stones to be pears! I want a vintage feel, with milgrain and engraving all over the ring! I havent decided if I want diamond sin the ring or not. I'd like sapphires somewhere in the ring, but I might do that in the band! Not sure yet! here ya go guys! Stephanie

I love the pears on the side with the cushion and the other inspiration ring is gorgeous too! I dont know if you should stick sapphires in the band too. Might be a lot going on and draw the eye away from your (soon to be) beautiful cushion. I guess the cads will help figure that out. I need both a band AND a setting and I have never really cared much for the weight of platinum...and I believe that is all he uses! Besides, I promised Brian and Lesley my business! LOL! He needs projects to help his new business and he's in Houston, which is where I am as well! Leon will get my 2 carat cushion I have in mind someday...that is of course, if I think I need bigger. With everything i have in mind...its my dream ring. I mean the size, side stones, everything. I'm not sure I'll ever change it! I talked with the hubby...he says if Jonathan can get the cushion before the wedding he'll transfer the 2k over to him for it The only problem is he wasnt all that thrilled with the idea But he says he'll do it if it makes me happy So we'll see! I want him to be on board with it too! Its not worth hard feelings for a couple more months! Stephanie

I'm more excited about this one that I am the first search! I think I jumped the gun on the first stone and everything. I just wanted something on my finger at that point! How am I going to live w/o a diamond for that long? Well...I know one thing for sure! My .85 looks HUGE when I havent worn it for a few days...just think of how HUGE HUGE my new one will be! I'm sure I'll get blinded by bling! I'll keep you posted! Stephanie
