Hi guys, I am thinking about proposing and I am looking for a beautiful diamond for my girlfriend. I have been looking at the bluenile website and I have 2 questions: 1/ I selected 3 diamonds: 0.76 E VS1 HCA1.0 £2994 http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17525542_zoom.jpeg 0.81 F VS1 HCA1.3 £3314 http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17234999_zoom.jpeg 0.81 E VS2 HCA1.2 £3037 http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA2101526334_zoom.jpeg I was wondering if you would buy any of those or if I should take something bigger with lesser clarity or color? 2/ I am thinking about buying a Platinum Six-Claw Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting from bluenile too but the description on their website is very short: http://www.bluenile.co.uk/solitaire-diamond-engagement-ring-setting_7214?metal_filter=platinum&setting_filter=solitaire&sort_select=LTHP&set_shape= and I cannot manage to imagine what it will look like. Did any of you buy one of those? |

Did any of you buy one of those? Welcome! I will just fix the links before I proceed... http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17525542_zoom.jpeg http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17234999_zoom.jpeg http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA2101526334_zoom.jpeg They all look good, well done! You have obviously done your homework! Well it depends on you, you could certainly lower the colour and clarity a bit and go a bit larger perhaps but it is up to your personal preference. The diamonds are of very nice quality! ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. Date: 4/7/2009 3:15:45 PM Author: Cinag Thanks, I tried to look in the FAQ how to have proper links but I didn t manage to find the answer, how did you do that? How I do it, I copy and paste the links onto the page, then make sure the cursor is right next to the last character of the link. Once the cursor is next to the last letter or number, I hit the space bar which underlines it, hit submit then it should be clickable! http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17525542_zoom.jpeg http://www.bluenile.co.uk/certs/619/GIA17525542_zoom.jpeg http://www.bluenile.co.uk/solitaire-diamond-engagement-ring-setting_7214?metal_filter=platinum&setting_filter=solitaire&sort_select=LTHP&set_shape= I have just added the setting and will take a look for you. It is a classic Tiffany style design, should be a simple and pretty setting. I don't know if we have anyone who has bought that actual setting, but many of us do have something similar as that design is widely available. ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse.
