. Report: GIA . Shape: Round . Carat: 2.00 . Depth %: 62.4 . Table %: 57 . Girdle: M-STK . Measurements: 8.00-8.02X5.00 . Polish: Excellent . Symmetry: Excellent . Culet: None . Fluorescence: None i am thinking of calling them for detailed report. but wonder anyone could give me some input w/ the info above. i did some research and a stone like this usually cost 26k at least. is this just too good to be true?

Hi ling, Doing a price search, they are starting in the low 20's. However, it's facing up like a 1.90 for its ct. weight. It's 8.01, and a 2 ct. is around 8.20, give or take a few. So you'd be paying the 2 ct. mark up, but not getting the size. I'd personally pass if it was me, but I'm just kind of a stickler about that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

The crown and pavilion angles would be very useful if you wished to investigate this diamond further but it depends on you - if that it will look smaller than a 2 carater doesn't worry you and the price reflects this then it could be ok if the critical angles check out. ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. i'am one of those that gets suspicious when the cutter cuts a stone right at the magic weight,in this case exactly 2 ct. i get this feeling there're some extra fats that the cutter didn't wanna trim off the stone.
it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone. |

so does that mean the larger the first number of the measurement is, the bigger the surface looks?

The first two measurements tell you how large the diamond's circumference is, the last measurement is the depth. ![]() Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse.
