DjSpark Rough Rock Total Posts: 2 Last Post: 12/6/2003 Member Since: 12/6/2003	I need some tips on selling a ring. It's a tiffany cut on a platinum band. The ring I'm looking to sell was purchased from Osterman's Jewelers.It comes with Osterman's warrenty, and is good for trade in at the value of $2,500 on any purchase over $3,000... Does anyone have any ideas or know anyone who would like to purchase?

You might want to considering selling the diamond loose. Also, you might seriously consider doing the trade in option. It is very unlikely that you will recoup all that you spent by selling the ring yourself. Check out Ebay to see what similar rings are going for. You might try selling it there with a reserve price. Remember, the lower you make your reserve price, the more likely that people will bite, and once they bite, they just might keep bidding the price up. That's why the IGI shows a gold band. Thanks for the advice, I'll see how it goes and let you all know the results. Thanks again!
