Unfortunately I am home sick- Some REALLY nasty bug that makes it difficult for me to even move. DH has been so wonderful. He has made me soup, got me orange juice, medicine, help me get up to walk to the bathroom, and all sorts of other sweet things. I will definitely have to make it up to him when i'm feeling better. Has your SO done anything sweet for you today, or vice-versa?

Tuckins so sorry you have a nasty bug.  Your Hubby is sooo sweet.

Skippy, your Hubby adores you, glad you had a great lunch.

My hubby is away, but will be home tomorrow yay!!  He called earlier to say he loves me.  I have to say, I never get tired of that.

He watched our 4 year old son today while my sis-in-law and I went to the outlet malls for some shopping and now he is taking us all out to eat!

So far, he has done all the dishes, woken me up very nicely, and taken me out to a lovely brunch. He is the best.

FI is really stressed out, came home like this yesterday, and really needed to get on his computer and play his games and destress.  So he hasn't done too much today, but is much less stressed, so therefore much more fun to be around.  He did pump my gas at the gas station, hehe, and threw away our trash at Chick Fil A!

Last weekend though he was awesome - helped vacuum, cleaned the bathroom all by himself, swept and mopped while I cleaned up some junk... he gets in these moods and is so helpful!

Occasionally when I get home from work, my BF is on the computer. He knows I will be getting on shortly after I get home so he closes out all the applications except for paint so it's the only thing up on the screen when I get on. It always says something cute drawn in paint like "how was your day?" or "I LOVE YOU!"

So cute. :) Nothing like making dinner, but baby steps!

Haha.

Tuckins, I'm so sorry you're sick and I hope you feel better soon!

Hubby brought home roses for me yesterday and told me what a wonderful wife and doggy mom I was...it was so sweet I nearly cried. I try to do something nice for him every day and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed. We are both so busy and stressed out with work right now that having "a soft place to fall" is wonderful. I adore him.

I love this thread!  Makes me want to squeeze my honey.

Tuckins1, I hope you feel better!  What a sweetie!

FI brought me a red rose (which he does every week, sometimes sooner if one doesn't survive as long!) and coffee in bed today.  He is so incredibly sweet.  When I went out, he escorted me down the elevator holding my hand and walked me outside even though it was cold and he was still in shorts.  The doormen thought it was hilarious.  Sent me off with a kiss!

Aw Tuckins. Feel better soon ... yr. guy sounds very sweet! To answer the question ... he's been busy today!
* let me sleep late
* ran out & brought back coffee & some donuts we'd both been craving ... so that's what I woke up to
* drove me around for hours looking at/pricing/then buying landscaping materials
* loaded the car with nine heavy bags of river stones & wouldn't let me lift them
* watched some bad tv w/me even though he'd have rather been napping -- just so we could spend time together
* drove out w/me at 9pm in search of Edy's new "Tart Honey" flavor frozen yogurt ... VICTORY!
All that plus several rounds of doggie poopy duty.

Well... he gave me a great massage. My shoulder was really hurting but I wanted a shower, so he washed my hair for me (I couldn't lift my arm above my elbow), THEN we went to one of my favorite places to eat in Berkley AND went furniture and housewares shopping. I bought some cat bowls from CB2, some candelabra I've been coveting from Z gallerie, and MIGHT have finally found a coffee table. He was my pack animal as I piled bags on him.

And his back and neck were bothering him all day. So it was especially sweet of him.

He went fishing with a friend today and caught our dinner, which he cleaned and cooked when he got home . . . we had fish and Velveeta Shells & Cheese for dinner!  WOO HOO!

Then he mopped the kitchen floor . . . which is one of my least favorite jobs!

He made me tea this morning when I was in bed. I love getting a cup of tea to wake me up! Plus he fed the fur babies and tucked them into their beds.

My dh went to register for baby stuff with me yesterday even though he was super sick. He didn't complain a single time, not even when I spent about 10 minutes debating whether there was a difference in changing pad brands (I don't think there really is). I know he was probably miserable, but he kept up the fun and excited face because he knew how much I was looking forward to it!

Mr Gailey brought me tea in bed this morning, as well as my laptop so that I could catch up with all of you!  Then about half an hour later, he appeared with eggs on toast!  Doesn't get any better than that!

Feel better soon Tucks!  I had surgery recently and Mr Gailey kept me supplied with Häagen Dazs and hot water bottles!  Nothing like a wonderful husband around when you are feeling poorly.

DH is currently cleaning our house while I bum around on PS...first the kitchen, and now the bathroom. He's a pretty good guy all around, which makes me feel that most of the time I don't deserve him. Over the weekend, though, I read a little bit of dialogue between two characters that I thought summed it up quite nicely:
"What did I do to deserve you?"
"Who said love is about deserving?"

I made breakfast this morning and didn't have time to clean the kitchen before we left.  He's in there cleaning now and I'll put money on him asking me what sippy (cocktail) he can make me when he gets done.

DH made me waffles yesterday and took me shopping for new glasses (I dropped my sunglasses in the alley and one of us ran them over) and a body pillow.  Today he left me a sweet note when he went to his bike race before I woke up.  He made me mashed potatoes when I asked even though he was enjoying lounging on the couch and made brownies too as a surprise.  He has had to do a lot of extra stuff since I was hit with morning sickness 2.5 weeks ago and has been great overall.  I'm trying to show my appreciation by doing the laundry today now that I'm feeling a little better.

My DH does all the dirty works at home. He wipes the floor (on his knees), cooks, wash the dishes. I cook and wash the dishes once or twice a week. Well, I also order grocery online.
