Can somone give me a chart for a round cut grading? Such as Ideal, Very Good, Good, Fair....I would like to have this chart in hand when purchasing my diamond. Thanks

Dave Atlas has a chart too - find him through the appraisers links. It is not that easy to answer your question. This is for table sizes around 56-57%. Red is good. The numbers are HCA numbers - link up the top - cut adviser. But it assumes you can get the crown and pavilion angles. An easier option is to just buy a $25 ideal-scope because you will not easily find the data you need. ![]() Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |

I am novice that this, but what I was looking for was the paremters of depth and table. How would I know what paremters falls in the Ideal, VG, Good, etc...category?
