I got more votes for the shared prong band, so I think I"ll go with that one as my "main" wedding band :) Thanks for the input guys!

I also took more pics of the happy pair.

Thanks! Haha, I'm actually wearing it as a right hand ring most of the time since I'm not married yet, and it's not the band that matched my fiances (which will be the technically legit wedding band that we use for the wedding).

But I'm bad, and occasionally wear them together (even though my fiance teases me for it), and it feels fine. The only problem I've noticed is that it causes my Ering to slide around more (it's set kind of high and a bit top heavy so it tends to swivel to one side). That's the only thing that's a little awkward though.

Oh, it's also a semi-eternity, so no stones on the bottom, don't know if that makes a difference

I agree! I'm surprised that many main stream jewelry stores don't carry them. When I was trying out different bands at the mall to see what I'd like, almost none of the big names (Kays, Zales, etc) had the shared prong bands. You'd think they would since people would probably like them alot. Mostly they carried channel set or bead set bands.

Thanks! It's actually just a modest 1 ct :) But apparently of good quality since I get a lot of compliments on it, haha. I only wear a sz 4.5, which makes it seem bigger than it is.

PERFECT pair!

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. They look so pretty together.  Would you mind me asking how big the stones are in your new shared prong band?  They look like a just right size.

It looks SO GOOD

iloveprincesscuts--I wear my shared-prong eternity band with my e-ring (which is set in a shared-prong eternity band, too) every day and they are completely comfortable together. My e-ring band has 4-pointers in it, and my wedding band has 7-pointers, for reference.

MakingTheGrade--I LOVE your set. It's gorgeous!

Thanks! There are 11 stones, 2.5mm each :) I'm so happy they look good together, I bought the ring online and wasn't sure, but it all worked out!

I totally agree. While I greatly admire the artistic and loving craftsmanship that goes into those intricate and beautiful antique style rings, I personally like my jewelry to be streamlined, simple, and clean (and shiny!). :)
It may have to do with my OCD personality...if I had a ring with lots of little crevices, I'd be cleaning and scrubbing it NON STOP, lol.

Thanks! Macro setting + natural lighting + "sharpen" feature of editing software = shiny pictures :)
They look better on my computer I think because I had to lower the resolution to upload it onto PS.

Here's one of the pics at more normal quality

(nevermind, I had to lower the quality on this one the same amount, lol, ah well, I tried!)
