Working on a tight deadline to help my parents pick out a stone for a pendant for my sis' b-day.  This one from JamesAllen is RIGHT in our sweet spot for price & color.  Gets a 1.8 on HCA ex/ex/gd/gd.  She looks pretty with H&A even though it is only a "premium" cut, for the price (and size) I think this is a keeper -- anyone else?

http://www.jamesallen.com/create-your-diamond-pendant/solitaire-pendants/pendant/item_164-786_design.asp?module=diamond&item=1198091

It's going in the 4 prong solitaire pendant . . .

THANKS!

I think it would be fine for a small pendant--especially for your price range.

Here's a stone with a tighter cut for a bit more--and at this size, I'm betting it's eye clean. Another option for you...

In the FIC range. So usually slightly smaller for it's weight class. Looks fine to me. A pendant stone can go shallower on the pavilion angle, resulting in bigger spread.

Yes the WF ACA is gorgeous!  Unfortunately, it is also out of our price range.  I think the Jame Allen one could be the winner.  Anyone else have an opinion?

Do you think this faces up small for a .33?

I don't think it faces up small for a .33. For the price--looks good.

Nope, probably negligible for that stone weight in terms of improving spread. Saw some BN stones that look just as nice and cheaper. Maybe you should take a look.

I like the one from JA. It doesn't look small to me. The price is right, too.

Thanks everyone!  the bluenile one looks similar but the setting is crazy expensive!!  The JA one is $205.  Whiteflash also has one for under $200....I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go JA...will let you know how it turns out!

That is platinum. JA's WG setting is much cheaper.
