First, congrates!!!! What an exciting part of life....lots of fun now!!!!!

The diamond looks gorgeous, and I agree about the high setting. Mind you Im sure irl it doesnt look as bad as it does on the big screen. But a bit lower wont hurt.

While you are there you can have a play with wedding bands

It looks great on your hand - beautiful ring! But it is really high! But whatever you do, the ring really suits your finger, and your finger shows it off very well!

Yes, very very high! You'll probably be glad to have it lower, people tend to knock high-set rings on things

Your stone looks very pretty!

I would probably have it set lower--more comfortable for you that way!

Congratulations, it's beautiful!!

It is set pretty high. If it makes you uncomfortable or you'd prefer it lower definitely get it fixed! It probably won't get caught on as many things if it's set lower :)

Yes, absolutely, ditto Musey.  I'd have it lowered a tad.   You will bang it if you're not extremely mindful of having it on and being more careful.  That's hard to do every minute of every day.

Ditto on lowering the diamond, but congratulations on your engagement and gorgeous ring!  If you do get it lowered, please come back and post pics - I'd love to see a before-and-after.

Gorgeous setting, but I agree it's set way too high. You run the risk of damaging both the setting and stone. I would have them set it lower, and it will be perfect! Congrats!!!!

It is beautiful, but I can see where you might think it is set a bit too high.
Congratulations!

Oooh very pretty!! I love high settings but I agree that it seems a tisch too high. :) ENJOY!

It's gorgeous!

I agree it's too high... make sure you don't get it too LOW... or you won't be able to clean the culet... that's VERY annoying!
