Elle-you crack me up LOL When I saw that in the preggo thread with your dancing man I "LOL" I’m 27, born in Brooklyn. I have two younger brothers (going on 19 and 20). I have a huge family so lots of big holiday parties growing up. I spent summers in Dominican Republic eating mangos I was about 10 when my dad got Cancer. Lots of chemotherapy and hospital visits. I was 12 when the doctors said he was “cured” and he moved us to Kissimmee, FL for a “better” life. We moved in July and in December my dad dropped probably around 20lbs in like 3 weeks. And at that point there was nothing the doctors could do. He spent January through March in the hospital then came home. He had a few weeks to live but had the doctor’s lie and say 3 months. He passed away maybe 5 days later. He was 36. Mom never remarried. She dated some guy for about two years but it didn’t work out. Funny thing is that I was *in love* with that guy’s son (haha I call him my first Florida crush). But she’s single still so if any of you have a hot uncle out there, let me know. I tell her I’m going to open up an e-harmony page for her LOL Brothers are good. They’re growing up I left home at 17/18 to go to school and never went back. Met FI when I was 19, started dating him at 20. My first real boyfriend. Lots of ups and downs with this guy, let me tell you. We had issues galore. But we never broke up. We just grew up and matured together. I love him to death and maybe one day I’ll marry him LOL I’m a boring person LOL. I’m an accountant and very stereotypical. I prefer spending Saturday’s reading although I do love to dance (to Marc Anthony…my second love). Anything else you want to know just ask!

Boring? I think not. Boba... Okay, let's see... Where did you do your undergrad and grad (I think I remember reading you went to grad school)??? What's your favorite type of music (other than M. Anthony Fiery)? What's your favorite Dominican/Latin dish? ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

Hi Fiery-you're definitely one of my fave posters! I love how close you are to your brothers and your Fi sounds like such a nice guy. Any baby names picked out yet? I have a nice uncle in Manhattan! Does she go for Irish red-heads?

Just wanted to say "hi," Fiery! I loved reading a little more about you. Your family sounds like it is so close-knit, which is so rare these days. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad, but happy that your family hung on and stuck together. Tell us more about your FI! How did you meet? Where was your first date? How has your relationship changed throughout the years? What is he like?

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I think it is nice that he was in a peaceful and happy place before he went on. I am also glad that you are soo close to your family, and think it is sweet that you want your mom to date again! I am curious... if you don't have red hair. (or do you?) How did you pick your name, fieryred?

What's your favorite type of music (other than M. Anthony Fiery)? What's your favorite Dominican/Latin dish? Hi! I went to University of Miami for my undergrad (for some crazy reason I went private) and to Nova Southeastern for grad. Nova is not a very popular school but they should be because its sooooo convenient. They have classes at all hours of the day and on the weekends and online. Awesome. LOL @ music other than Marc. But I luff him! J/k. I love, love freestyle (Stevie B, TKA, Lil Suzy, etc.). My poor FI loves hip hop so its a battle in our house! Other than that, I really love just Spanish music. It calms me down, especially when in Miami traffic! Favorite dish has to be pastelon (or PRicans call it piñon...you can ask your FI if you don't know what it is!). Basically its lasagna but made with plantains instead of noodles and no ricotta. I love it.

My FI is Richard Antonio and I convinced him if its a boy it should be a jr but then I started thinking...do I really want my son to be named "Little Richard" and of course my FI who hated the idea now loves it![]() For a girl we may go with Sophia but we're still on the fence. I think that once I know what "it" is I'll start thinking more seriously about names. Thanks for asking!

It used to be my friend's sn years ago when she was trying to catch her bf cheating and of course being the mischevious person I am, I went along with creating the name for her . When she got over it (he was cheating BTW), I kept the name and it has stuck with me forevah. My hair is brown almost reddish though haha

How has your relationship changed throughout the years? What is he like? Hey Kitty I love your new avatar btw! Such a gorgeous ring (and you were soo worried )FI and I didn't have the greatest meeting to be honest. I was dating his friend who I met in a night club (there's something about Miami nightclubs that make you think that's the best place to find true love ). Anyway, this guy and I dated for about 3 months or so. Around March of 2002, I met FI when I met up with this guy at a parking lot of a nightclub to head over to my place for an after party (I partied a lot and have a semester of bad grades to prove it ). FI was outside in this guy's car sitting, listening to music. He (I later found out) wasn't into clubbing and really wanted to just go home but the guys were busy hanging out. I had just finished working (hence meeting in a parking lot) and was really tired myself so I sat in the car and FI started talking to me. We chatted about random stuff when he asked if I was there with anyone. I told him yes and pointed his friend out and he said "hmm, really? That's a shame." He really stood out to me though. That night when we went back to my place, one of the guys had dropped a beer bottle on the floor and it shattered. No one got up to clean it, not even the guy I was dating. FI was in the bathroom and when he came out, he practically jumped over everyone to make me stop picking up the glass. Then he picked it all up and mopped the floor. I was intrigued So after about a week or so I get a phone call from a weird number and it ended up being the guys wife ![]() ![]() Poor girl. She had a 3 month old (so if you do the math 3 months dating - 3 months old = met the day after he was born ). So that was over. And a week later, FI called. Said he had "heard" what happened and wanted to see if I was ok. He thought I knew about the guy and was "glad to know you're not like that" He was "running game" as I like to call it. And he asked if we could hang out one day. And we did maybe a month later. Our first date was pizza and a movie at home with my roommates and one of his friends. I liked him immediately and we've been together ever since. FI is a very quiet and reserved person. He's not shy but he doesn't like to be embarrassed. He's a great dancer although he doesn't believe it and it takes about 5 long islands to get him out on the dance floor. He's from Chile but has been here for years. He's really smart and is into conspiracy theories which makes for some aggravating conversations at home LOL. He's striving to be a musical engineer/producer and works in his studio all the time (which will be converted to a nursery...I find that amusing). He's really close to his family which is great for me because his family is my home away from home.

Date: 2/4/2009 3:55:02 PM Author: trillionaire What is your favorite color? Favorite movie? Favorite book? Dream car? Hey trill! Favorite color: pink! Although you'd never guess considering I never, ever wear pink...ever! Favorite Movie: I have a ton. I love Its a Wonderful Life, The Ten Commandments (original), Beautiful Mind, Being John Malcovich (sp?), and pretty much any Peanuts movie haha Book: Black Beauty although that's more because it reminds me of summer for some reason so I love reading it Car: I have phases. I wanted a Corolla for such a long time and finally got one. Now I've set my eye on a Lexus. Don't know which one yet but would love to own one. I think my dram car changes with my income levels. At starving college student I strived for the Corolla because its a pretty cheap car. Now that I can eat something other than mac-n-cheese with hotdogs I'm looking into more luxury cars. How are you doing??

You FI is amazing. What a true gentleman! I love that he didn't think you were THAT TYPE of woman. I also love that... fieryred... from anger! ha! That is great! There was this "exotic dance" club in a town where I went to school and it was called SassyReds, and it had a buxomy redheaded diva on their neon sign. I dont know why... but that is how I always pictured you. Sorry if that offends! I like your story better!!!

Fiery- I totally pictured you as red-haired Irish girl too! Which totally made me laugh when I read that you are obsessed with Marc Anthony!!! Now it all makes sense. Your FI sounds like one of the good ones. My mom always says "People show you who they are. Believe them". (Yes, she got it from Oprah. so she actually says "Oprah says people show you..." I think this is so true, that it's in small moments when people show their character, and your FI picking up that bottle says it all.

Hey Miss Fiery, You are also one of my fav's on PS. I remember months back when I was just starting the planning process, you were such a help to me! I guess I figured you were latina from the miami connection and preivous conversations, but I think its funny imagining you as an Irish-redhead, lol. So, more questions for my Latina-sister: 1. How many weeks are you now? 2. Any new ideas for the small-family type wedding? 3. Do you ever wish you were a Gator instead of a Hurricane? (Sorry, couldn't help myself) Big hug!
