Hi, I just joined in hopes of some help and because it looks like there is a ton of helpful advice on this site. I would greatly appreciate if someone could steer me in the right direction when it comes to buying a cushion cut. I am looking for something in the 2.0 carat range and have a budget of about 15K. I would prefer something around G VS, is this impossible? What type of dimensions should I look for? Also, how do you feel about buying online? And are diamond prices going to drop at all with the economic situation?

Thank you for any help you may provide.

Welcome!

The veteran PSers help with many online queries and many of us have done so with excellent results and wouldn't buy a diamond any other way now!

Cushions need to be seen to be judged so this means if buying online, working with a vendor who has in house diamonds or can source you some cushions which might suit you.

Mark at www.engagementringsdirect.com is known as the cushion guy around here, also Jon at www.goodoldgold.com often has great cushions.

It is hard to predict what price trends will do, if you see a diamond you like in the near future then I would consider buying it, especially as larger diamonds are highly desirable and cushions can vary so much.

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...
