I worked on the design with the help of an overseas jeweler and finaly came with this deisgn. http://www.israel-diamonds.com/Product/Pendant/sg/33633.aspx Please tell what should I be looking for and what is your opinion design and price wise. I picked the stones from their calibrated gems section. Thank you

Currently I have : 5 Diamonds .17ct each total .85ct E/F VVS Priced at $169 ea X 5 = $845 USD + 6 Rubies .17 each total 1.02 Burmese high quality Priced at $ 61.50 ea X 6 = $369 USD Total gems cost is $ 1,214. I think that they are charging me for the design and 3g of gold $ 1,431! For similar cross & gems quality, I was quoted by other 'online retailers' over $4,800 to 5,250 USD!
