smithsmith Rough Rock Total Posts: 46 Last Post: 9/21/2009 Member Since: 12/23/2007	All, I saw a photo of a really cool ring recently, and unfortunately I didn't save it so I don't know what to search for to find something similar again. There were stones flush-set in the SIDE of the ring. Like you would see them if you were wearing it and looking at the profile rather than looking at the top. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I don't know how else to explain it. Does anyone know what this is called?

Michael B's "lace" rings are just clustered-pave. Smithsmith posted above that he's thinking of the diamonds on only the profile like the Damiani bands.

It's a very understated ring. Not showy but amazing quality. I love it . elle

Chrono- The ring is very thick but not uncomfortable. It has something like 36, maybe 38 stones for a total tcw of .76-78. Can't remember the specifics right now. elle

The one sided pave is my wedding band. Just checked and it's 37 stones tcw .70. The ring weighs 13.5 pennyweights. It's pretty heavy but comfy. The ring is also cold forged, not cast. elle
