OK, after months of lurking, posting, and getting hints from the girlfriend, I have settled on an actual ring type, its a good feeling of relief to have half the equation solved. (going with asscher center 1ct) I want to spend a ceiling of $2200 on a setting only. She loved the following based on a picture line up: http://www.jamesallen.com/designer-jewelry/meno-collection-by-danhov/ring/item_294-2040.asp I personally am a big fan of the looks over these: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=360&mode=search http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=348&mode=search http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=430&mode=search I can only assume the Leon settings are well above $3000. Does anyone know any other split shanks besides the Danhov one that is around the same price range and look as these? Thanks. |

Hi bbfifas, Here's another one to look at: http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/index.htm?crn=201&rn=1824&action=show_detail But why don't you just get the one she loved since it's in your budget?

Here's a Whiteflash design.. ring1 Here's another. ring2 I second the previous poster's question... Why not go with the one she likes if it's within your means?

I was also going to suggest knoxjewelers. They have quite a few split shanks that are well-made and very affordable!
